Roles and Responsibilities
- Leading the design team of Backhoe Loader, Skid Steer Loader, Motor Grader & Compactor.
- Design and development of Backhoe Loader, Skid Steer Loader, Motor Grader & Compactor
- Vehicle Integration, Design, development, testing and Homologation.
- Managing R&D Centre for Road construction equipment & Earth-moving equipment
- Prepare the Budget for R&D centre
- Engineering resource planning for R&D Centre
- Responsible for Vehicle Integration, design, development, testing and Homologation of Road construction equipment & Earth-moving equipment
- Responsible for Product Engineering & Development, Engineering Program/ Project
- Management for Off Road equipment like Backhoe loader,
- Skid steer Loader, compactor & Motor Grader etc. and its subsystems.
- Responsible for inhouse New Product Design, New Product Introduction Management & Development, Proto Type Validation, Product Cost, Time, Quality, Introduction of complete range of new & current off-road equipment products like Backhoe loader, Skid steer Loader, compactor & Motor Grader etc. and its subsystems.
- Short term Product plans and long-term Product plans for engineering and improvement in Cost & Profit Margin through engineering intervention.
- New Product introduction Strategy, Product strategy, Benchmarking, Conceptualizing, designing new products including detailed engineering & initial proto manufacturing and validation.
- Design, Development & Introduction of products for Global Non-regulatory markets.
- Responsible for Design & Development of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics systems for India product and export products.
